The 16-year cinematic journey of Malayalam superstar Prithviraj and director Blessy has culminated today (March 28) with the release of Aadujeevitham in other words Goat life. The film is an adaptation of the 2008 novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, based on the real-life survival story of a Malayali immigrant worker Najeeb Muhammad. Prithviraj’s amazing transformation for the film – the actor lost 31 kilos for the project – and the amazing trailer have already piqued the audience’s interest. Fellow celebrities also have nothing but praise for Prithviraj and the team. An example of this is that of the actor Salaar co-star Prabhas, who shared a poster of the film on Instagram Stories and wrote, “Keep shining, @therealprithvi! I’ve seen your dedication firsthand and I know how hard you worked on this film. Here’s to many more well-deserved victories!”

Earlier too, Prabhas had shared another poster of the film on Instagram Stories praising Prithviraj. He wrote: “My brother @therealprithvi what have you done!!! I can’t believe it’s the same person who played Varadharaja Mannar. Congratulations and all the best, brother. Looking forward to #The GoatLife with lots of love. Blockbuster is loading.” Prithviraj in turn thanked Prabhas, “Thank you Deva! See you soon on the battlefield #Shourangyaparvam,” referring to the sequel of their film Salaar.

Ahead of the film’s release, Prithviraj’s wife, producer Supriya Menon Prithviraj, shared some BTS moments from the film’s sets. The images and videos show the superstar in his Najeeb avatar. In her post, Supriya also referred to when the team was also stranded in Jordan’s Wadi Rum desert for 60 days from March to May due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

She shared the post and wrote: “What do you call a sixteen year journey that culminates tomorrow? I have known @therealprithvi since November 2006 and have been married to him since 2011. I’ve seen him in a lot of movies. But nothing like this has ever happened before. I’ve seen you through the crazy fasts where you were constantly Hangry, watched you lose weight, felt too tired and weak. When the whole world was together during Covid, we were apart, talking over the patchy internet for the few precious seconds you had enough bandwidth in the desert camp. The missed opportunities in various other languages because of this one film. Through it all you stayed focused, this was the journey you chose to take because of the art and everything it meant to you. Together with @blessyofficial and everyone else, you made this journey with mind, body and soul to embody one man’s life on screen. Now that all your efforts are paying off tomorrow (March 28), I have only one thing to say: the dedication you are showing is, in my eyes, unparalleled and unparalleled. And I wish you all the success and love from the people in general who look at this beautiful work of art. You are always the GOAT in my eyes!”

To this, Prithviraj replied with heart emojis.

Besides Prithviraj, the film also stars Amala Paul and Jimmy Jean-Louis.
