Post Malone credits his daughter with changing his life “in the best way.”
The 29-year-old rapper and his fiancée Jamie welcomed their daughter, whom they have not named publicly but whose initials DDP are tattooed on her forehead, two years ago and Post says her birth was a turning point for him.
Talking to Anthony Mason on Sunday morning on CBSHe said, “I will never forget her. If you heard her cry, you will never forget her either!”
And he added: “It changes your life in the best way possible. And the most beautiful thing is that he has a beautiful mother.”

Explaining that she was facing “loneliness” four years ago, Post said: “Four years ago, I was going through a really tough time. It was terrible. Getting up, crying, drinking and then going on with life.”
She added: “And then every time you go away, you go to bed, you drink some more and you cry a little bit. And you think: ‘I have to wake up tomorrow and do this again’. And I don’t feel that way anymore.”
Post Malone continued: “And it’s the most amazing thing. I needed to do it for myself, to figure out who I am.”
Post also shared his special relationship with his fans, saying, “I don’t want people to feel the way I’ve felt. And I know they do. And I’m here and I’m on stage and I just want everyone to feel welcome and loved. And that’s the most important thing to me.”
Post has previously spoken about how becoming a father helped him curb his partying habits.
In an interview with Apple Music last year, she said: “Having a baby really put a lot of things into perspective and made me slow down a lot, as far as partying and going out and doing crazy things. I never really had the time or energy to live the journey to the fullest. So I guess that’s what I’m trying to do now.”
“I love spending time with my baby, my wife, playing video games and working on projects in my garage. That’s what I love to do.”
