Modern Family’s Julie Bowen sells Hollywood Hills house for $4.2 million after snatching $6 million pad
Julie Bowen turned out to be very busy with real estate when she sold one house and picked up another.
The 51-year-old Modern Family star has officially sold her mid-century modern Hollywood Hills home for the above asking price of $4.2 million and secured a Toluca Lake pad for a cool $6 million, per month. TMZ.
Bowen’s new one-story house has five bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms and was previously owned by Megan Fox and her ex Brian Austin Green, and most recently singer Meghan Trainor who sold it to Julie.

Bowen’s 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home was put on the market just weeks ago with an asking price of $3.85 million.
The buyer, Spring Breakers producer Wicks Walker, was willing to pay more for the Thornton Abell-designed 3,212 sq. ft. home with glass walls and terrazzo floors.
Other amenities include stunning canyon views, an attached dining room and wet bar, as well as a swimming pool and small freestanding gym.
Julie seized the house — which was built in 1959 — for $3.1 million in late 2017. She bought the property a few months after divorcing her husband of 14, Scott Phillips, with whom she shares three sons.

Fox and Green lived there from 2014 to 2016 and bought it for $3.35 million, before Trainor bought it in 2016 for $5 million.
It is best known as Bing Crosby’s estate, as it served as the carriage house of the legendary entertainer from 1936 to 1943.
It had gone up in flames due to faulty wiring in Christmas tree lights and was being reconstructed before being rebuilt again in 2008.
