Mallette, who raised the pop star, 30, primarily as a single mother in Toronto, posted a clip in which she told her 1.7 million followers that she is “so excited” to be a grandmother.
Mallette, who welcomed the Love Yourself singer with Jeremy Bieber, 48, in March 1994, smiled at the good news while sitting in a vehicle.

She predicted that the pop star and model “were going to be the best parents ever.”

Mallette received birthday wishes from her daughter-in-law last month in an Instagram Stories post.

Hailey reposted the clip, which was filmed when the celebrity couple renewed their wedding vows in Hawaii.
Hailey’s rep told her People that she is “just over six months pregnant.”
