Alleged friction in the Raiders locker room spilled over onto the sideline when Maxx Crosby shoved an assistant coach during Sunday’s loss to the Steelers.
During the 32-13 loss, Crosby was seen angrily shoving running game coordinator and linebackers coach Mike Caldwell as he walked off the field.
Caldwell appeared to comfort the defensive end as the team was being devastated. In return, Crosby planted his palms firmly on the coach’s chest and shoved him.
As fans criticized Crosby for his actions, he took to social media and claimed it was a “love push” while praising Caldwell.
‘Mike Caldwell is my guy. One of the best people in the business. That’s a push of love, stop reaching’ Crosby wrote. However, that didn’t stop fans from taking issue with his claims.

“Trade request is coming soon,” one user suggested.
“It’s unacceptable, trading him to the Chicago Bears,” said another.
“Not good,” wrote a third. “It’s really, really not right.”
The loss dropped Las Vegas to a 2-4 record as they struggled early in the season.
Aside from the brewing tension and rumors with the team, head coach Antonio Pierce recently decided to promote Aidan O’Connell to be his starting quarterback. In the process, he benched the troubled Gardner Minshew.
Additionally, star receiver Davante Adams has been in the midst of trade rumors after the team reportedly mentioned their trade demands for the wide receiver.
Pierce’s team has lost two straight games after falling to the Denver Broncos before Sunday. Their schedule doesn’t get any easier as they have the Rams, Chiefs and Bengals on deck.
