Married At First Sight star Eden Harper made some very explosive claims about fellow girlfriend Sara Mesa during Tuesday night’s drama-filled episode.
Eden, 28, was left conflicted during the Byron Bay retreat when she revealed she was keeping a big “secret” about one of her co-stars – but didn’t know whether to share it.
Daily Mail Australia had exclusively revealed that Eden would expose Sara’s ‘secret meetings’ with her ex-boyfriend, and the shocking scenes finally unfolded.
After isolating herself from group activities at the retreat, her husband Jayden Eynaud expressed concern, leading her to claim that Sara had secretly met her ex-boyfriend behind her ‘husband’ Tim Calwell’s back.
He claimed that, via text message, Sara had asked him to borrow some clothes for dinner, before shockingly revealing that she was meeting up with her ex-boyfriend.
Married At First Sight star Eden Harper made some very explosive claims about fellow girlfriend Sara Mesa during Tuesday night’s drama-filled episode.
Jayden was furious upon learning of his wife’s claims and insisted it was a “trap”, while telling Eden that they should tell Tim, and she quickly agreed.
A teaser clip for Wednesday’s episode showed Eden telling Sara that if she didn’t confess to her antics the previous weekend, she would tell Tim in a cliffhanger ending.
The drama first began when Eden told producers how she had been feeling “stressed” and “anxious” because she was hiding a “secret.”
She revealed: “They have given me information that I did not want and that is a secret, which can affect many people here.” It makes me not want to be with everyone, I feel very uncomfortable and anxious and I don’t know what to do.’
Eden admitted that she felt like she was in a “lose-lose situation” because she could ruin her friendships by revealing the text messages, but she didn’t want to damage her relationship with Jayden by lying.
She isolated herself from group activities, including a fun workshop hosted by Lucinda Light, and went out during late night drinks because she wasn’t sure what to do.
Eden claimed that via text, Sara had asked her to borrow some clothes, before shockingly revealing that she was meeting up with her ex-boyfriend, allegedly behind Tim Calwell’s back.
‘It has been difficult for me to be here tonight, because I really feel that it needs to come to light, I am afraid. “It’s too much,” she said.
Eden then broke down crying behind a closed door and was comforted by a producer, who asked her what secret she was hiding.
She said cryptically: “Something has happened, it doesn’t have to do with Jayden, it has to do with someone else.” I got a text about something someone did to someone else that’s pretty bad.
‘I feel very stressed because everyone will hate me, every single one of them, when it comes out. If I don’t do that, Jayden will hate me for doing the wrong thing.
The next morning, Jayden spoke to Eden privately and shared his concern about her withdrawn nature, prompting her to come clean about the secret.
Dropping the bombshell, she claimed: “Right before the retreat, someone in the experiment messaged me asking for clothes, and said, ‘I want to wear a cool blouse to dinner tonight.'”
Eden, 28, was left conflicted during the Byron Bay retreat when she revealed she was keeping a big ‘secret’ about one of her co-stars but didn’t know whether to share it.
And I was sweet and wrote, “Where are you going to dinner?” and when I opened it, she said, “I’m dating my ex-boyfriend.” I’m sara.’
A shocked Jayden insisted that Sara’s alleged actions amounted to “cheating” and the couple, who had been cheated on by their exes, agreed that Tim needed to know.
Jayden fumed: “Even if nothing happened, we know that they were obviously talking about some form of communication and ran into each other.”
‘Talking, whether through calls or messages, is a form of cheating, and meeting up with your ex behind your husband’s back is also a form of cheating. No matter how you look at it, it’s wrong.’
A preview for Wednesday night’s episode showed Eden and Jayden talking to Sara and Tim at dinner as the explosive scenes unfolded.
Eden boldly told Sara that if she didn’t tell Tim what she was doing the previous weekend, they would, and then Tim was shown storming out of the party.
After isolating herself from the group, her husband Jayden Eynaud expressed concern, leading her to claim that Sara had secretly met her ex behind her ‘husband’ Tim’s back.
The shocked faces of her co-stars were also seen around the table, while Sara was shown seemingly having an explosive fight with someone as tensions seemed to rise.
Daily Mail Australia recently revealed that Sara’s clandestine meetings with her ‘ex’ occurred during a break in filming behind Tim’s back, according to a source.
“Eden confronts Sara with explosive statements at dinner this week because she didn’t believe the way she was treating Tim was right,” the spy claimed.
“She gave her a chance to be honest… and then Sara tells the group how to catch up with her ex.”
‘Sara finally admits to everyone that she was still in contact with her ex despite giving everything to Tim.
“Everyone absolutely lived for Eden and praised her for confronting Sara with the claims.”
Tim, an online business owner, was said to have been stunned by the shocking news.
“Destroyed doesn’t even cover it,” the source close to the heartbroken husband said. “He was devastated when he heard what happened. It is a disaster.’
A teaser clip for Wednesday’s episode showed Eden telling Sara that if she didn’t confess to her antics the previous weekend, she would tell Tim in a cliffhanger ending.
But Sara was quick to shut down Eden’s claims, as sources close to her acknowledged, while Sara was still friends with her ex, “there’s really nothing more to tell.”
“Sara and her ex run in similar circles, when he’s in Sydney they catch up with our whole group,” a friend said.
‘There’s really nothing more to tell, nothing obscene or scandalous like people would want to hear.
“They broke up a long time ago and have since had other serious relationships.”
Married At First Sight continues at 7.30pm on Wednesday on Channel Nine.
