Dashboard camera captured dramatic moment man pulled machete out of stroller

A driver’s dashcam captured the shocking moment a man pulled a machete out of a stroller with a toddler inside at a pedestrian crossing.

The disturbing video was shared after a motorist spotted the gunman attempting to confront a motorist at the intersection of Pinjarra and Mandurah Roads in Mandurah, south of Perth, at around 12.40pm on Tuesday.

The footage showed a group of four men with a stroller walking down the street at a pedestrian crossing.

A man stopped at the side of the road and bent down to retrieve a large knife from the bottom of the stroller.

As another man watched the child inside the man, the gunman began walking toward a white car parked on the side of the road.

The parked vehicle drove away before the man could cause any damage, leaving him with his hands in the air in apparent frustration.

“It is illegal to carry weapons, but knives are not and can be easily bought anywhere. How scary!” wrote the owner of the dash cam online.

Western Australian Police have yet to receive a report of the incident.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
