Could Kai Trump’s speech be a sign of an emerging Trump political dynasty?
Supporters of the former president hope so and are urging the teenage golfer to look forward to a future presidential bid.
Kai, 17, made his political debut Wednesday at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as his grandfather Donald Trump and father Donald Trump Jr. looked on proudly.
At one point, he hinted that he had a future in politics.
One attendee shouted “Kai 2040” as she finished her brief speech.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio told DailyMail.com when asked if she has a future in politics: “Who knows? She’s a very impressive young lady.”
“He did great. He almost eclipsed his father,” he joked.
Kai Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was his first foray into politics and has people speculating that he could usher in the third generation of a Trump dynasty.

Kai said in his comments about Trump: “He always encourages me to be the most successful person I can be.”
“It’s clear that he sets the bar very high, but who knows, maybe one day he’ll reach it.”
The comment from Don Jr.’s daughter and his ex-wife Vanessa sparked speculation that she could lead the Trump political dynasty into a third generation.
Trump Jr. bowed out at the start of his planned speech to make room for his daughter, the former president’s eldest granddaughter, to take the stage.
“My name is Kai Madison Trump,” she told thousands of delegates, lawmakers, politicians and Republican Party members. “I am Donald Trump’s granddaughter. I’m speaking today to share a side of my grandfather that people don’t often see.”
She told a human story about the former president, like how he sneaked soda and candy to his grandchildren just four years after a would-be assassin tried to take his own life at a rally in Pennsylvania.
As Don Jr. handed the microphone to his daughter, he explained that she asked to address the convention in the wake of the assassination attempt.
“I was in shock on Saturday when I heard he had been shot and I just wanted to know if he was okay,” Kai said. “It was heartbreaking that someone would do that to another person.”
“A lot of people put my grandfather through hell, and he’s still standing,” she told thousands of cheering Republican delegates and party members. “Grandpa, you are such an inspiration and I love you.”
Donald Trump’s 17-year-old granddaughter Kai took the stage at the Republican Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Wednesday for her first public remarks for her grandfather.
After his speech, Kai, his four siblings and his father took a seat in Trump’s VIP box to watch the former president’s new running mate, Sen. JD Vance, speak.
Trump beamed as he listened to his speech.
During his remarks, he looked toward North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, sitting next to him, and appeared to say of his granddaughter, “She’s good!”
Speaking at the Fiserv Forum, the avid golfer described how she and her grandfather talk about her game.
When they play, he tries to ‘get into my head’ but forgets that ‘I’m a Trump, too,’ Kai said with a laugh.
She continued: “The media makes my grandfather seem like a different person, but I know him as he is. He is very caring and loving.
“He truly wants the best for this country and will fight every day to make America great again.”
Kai is a talented golfer, but he wanted to share his “grandfather’s” “real” story.
The teenager waved to the crowd who erupted in ecstasy as she revealed how her grandfather encouraged her to play golf and attend school.
“He always encourages me to be the most successful person I can be,” Kai said of the former president before hinting at a future in politics: “Obviously, he sets the bar very high. But who knows, maybe one day I’ll reach it.”

Kai took the stage after being introduced by her father Don Jr.
He said: “Before I begin my remarks, I’m going to do something unusual: a Trump is going to put down the microphone. It doesn’t happen often, you may never see him again.”
“But on Monday morning, I got a call from a young woman who said, ‘Dad, I want to speak at the Republican National Convention because I want America to know what my grandfather is really like. ‘ So for the first time in my life, for the first time in my life giving a speech, I want to bring my oldest daughter and the oldest granddaughter of your favorite president, Kai Madison Trump, to the forefront.”
Kai spoke before Trump’s newly anointed running mate, Sen. JD Vance, and his wife Usha wrapped up convention programming on Wednesday.
Kai Madison Trump’s first public statements in support of his grandfather came before a crowd of thousands of Republican delegates and party members from across the country gathered for the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Don Jr. introduced his oldest daughter to the stage and said, “Before I begin my remarks, I’m going to do something unusual: A Trump is going to put down the microphone. It doesn’t happen often, you may never see him again.”
Kai says Trump is like a “normal grandpa” who gives his grandchildren soda and candy when their parents see them and calls them in the middle of the school day to talk about golf.
Kai is the eldest of Trump’s 10 grandchildren and was thrust into the spotlight a few times during his first term in the White House.
The teenager attended the inauguration in 2017 and the White House Easter Egg Roll.
Earlier this month, she attended a Trump rally at her grandfather’s club in Doral, Florida, along with some of her siblings and her father.
She won’t be able to vote in November because she won’t turn 18 until May 2025.
Kai has a YouTube page dedicated to his golf game.
She is only 17 years old, but she is already considered the most outstanding golfer of the Trump dynasty.
On Wednesday, she spoke on stage about her shared love with the former president for the game.
“He calls me in the middle of the school day to ask how my golf game is going and tells me all about his,” she said with a laugh.
“When we play golf together, if I’m not on his team, he tries to get inside my head,” Kai continued. “And he’s always surprised that I don’t let him.”
“But I have to remind you: I’m a Trump, too.”

Kai has won the women’s club championship at her grandfather’s golf course in Palm Beach, Florida, and has played with some of the game’s biggest stars.
The teenage daughter of DonJr and his ex-wife Vanessa says on her Instagram page that she is part of Callaway Next, “the next generation of Callaway Tour Pros.”
Her longest drive is said to have been 275 yards. Only 14 LPGA players averaged more yards in 2023.
She has played with power-hitting Bryson DeChambeau, Swedish pro Daniela Holmqvist, two-time world long-drive champion Kyle Berkshire and other promising youngsters.
