Marissa was born with several health problems, including an inoperable cyst in her brain, severe scoliosis and cerebral palsy.

"She has memories of a couple of the other concerts we've been in. She has a shirt that we put on a pillow that is by her side all the time," Marissa's mother, Marlise Matthews, told WTOL.

"It's really nice because he will lift the pillow, hug her and kiss her … He will point to her and say" Mr. Hottie, "he added.

Marissa is a miracle at the age of 25, since doctors presume she would not live more than a year.

"She stayed in the hospital for five and a half months and when we took her home, the doctors said:" Go home and enjoy it for a year, possibly. That could be the longest I have, "said Marlise.

A campaign on social networks to bring Keith Urban to meet Marissa made the special serenade session a reality.

"We knew how important it was for Marissa to be at that concert tonight and, since she could not do it, we were hoping to try to find some way for Keith to connect with her," said nurse Jan Cassity.

The video from inside the hospital room shows Keith kneeling by the bed and singing to him while he takes her hand.

"She's so fascinated by Keith and loves to see him on TV as to listen to his music," said Marissa's nurse, Jackie Codding.
