A young Australian woman has been branded “deaf” by Australians after admitting she “accidentally” bought an investment property.

Karina Irby, OnlyFans star and owner of swimsuit brand Moana Bikini, celebrated the news with her thousands of Instagram followers on Wednesday.

“I may have bought an investment property accidentally and on purpose,” the 33-year-old influencer from the Gold Coast laughs in the video.

‘And I can literally see it from my bed. Oh my god… Do you see that?

‘I just bought it… God, I have two mortgages now. Am I the worst at adulthood?

‘If it were a huge risk, I’m sure my accountant would have said not to buy it. I don’t even remember what the refunds were.

However, not everyone was happy with Ms Irby, with many criticizing the video as ill-timed and ill-timed amid a deepening cost of living crisis.

‘Imagine being so rich that you “accidentally” buy an investment property?’ one said.

“Most people are struggling and can barely afford rent, gas and food,” one person wrote. “It’s not a very tasteful video these days, Karina.”

“I could have accidentally, on purpose, bought an investment property,” Gold Coast woman Karina Irby (pictured) told her thousands of Instagram followers on Wednesday.

“Please don’t make videos like this when people are struggling to keep a roof over their heads and feed their children,” a second agreed.

A third shared: ‘Good for you Karina. Although this still seems incredibly tone-deaf.

“You clearly work hard for your money, but between the huge new car you were able to buy for your friend as a surprise and ‘accidentally’ invest in a second property, I don’t know…

“I’ve always been his most ardent supporter, but there seems to be a point where some situational awareness may be warranted.”

“Damn, I accidentally bought a smoothie yesterday knowing I’ll never be able to buy a house,” a fourth joked.

In a Q&A on her Instagram page last June, Irby revealed that she has 3,135 subscribers on Onlyfans, putting her in the top 0.55 percent of creators.

With a subscription fee of $20 per month, that means you earn a whopping $62,700 monthly or $752,400 annually.

Irby responded to the criticism in the comments, arguing that she was “far from rich” and that the purchase was the result of 13 years of hard work.

‘To anyone who is offended and making assumptions about my personal life, let me help you. I am far from being rich. I was NEVER okay. Especially now,’ she said.

I’m sorry if this video upset you or anyone. But this is my life that I choose and have chosen to post publicly about for the past 13 years. The good and bad moments.

‘I’m not holding you hostage here, you can stop following my travels in the blink of an eye. Money doesn’t grow on trees and I am very grateful to have this opportunity. But it wasn’t possible without hard work, tears and sacrifices.

‘I never came from money, I was bought to work and have what you want. There are more than 13 years of that mentality, dedication and pure passion. So forgive me for celebrating my own achievements.

“I’d be happy for you.”
