Snapshots of Julian Lennon’s epic world travels and life experiences have been cataloged in a stunning new coffee table book.
The avid photographer and singer-songwriter selected 200 images from over a decade of experiences around the world to share with his fans.
Offering an exclusive preview of DailyMail.com, the images range from sweeping landscapes to candid portraits in both color and black and white.
Lennon says that “the main thread connecting the book (titled Life’s Fragile Moments and currently available to pre-order) is the fragility of people’s faces and the delicate state of nature in landscapes and clouds.”
Referring to his style of photography, the Europe-based artist adds: ‘It’s hard to label your own style… I just try to approach each capture with authenticity and honesty.

Above, a photograph from one of Lennon’s photographic series called ‘Calanqués’. He said: ‘I was invited on a yacht for a few days, to clear my mind, as I had a lot on my mind, I didn’t realize, I was entering another world, the likes of which I had never seen before…’
“I always want the vibe to reflect what I saw in the moment so that others can experience it in a similar, organic way.”
While Lennon has been exhibiting and selling his photographs for many years, this marks his first book of fine art photography.
The teNeues publishing house considers it “an excellent coffee table book that shows complex and diverse aspects of his creative spirit” and “an essential tool for any collector.”
Along with the images, the book features a “moving” text where Lennon offers a “personal vision of his inspiration.”
While the photographer says it’s “impossible” to choose a favorite photo, he says he has “a special place in my heart” for several photos.

The black and white image shows a young woman smiling slightly as she directs her bright eyes to the camera.
A more recent image cherished by Lennon captures a “beautiful and majestic” horse he met on his travels to Uruguay for the first time this year.
A photo by American celebrity photographer Timothy White taken by Lennon in 2010, who describes him as a “mentor and dear friend.”
Lennon captured German artist Anselm Kiefer’s art exhibition called ‘Women of Antiquity’, which took place at Château La Coste in Provence during 2023. The book features many other photographs of the stunning Château La Coste estate.

After spending months compiling his photography book, Lennon is now hoping for a music release this summer, as well as a photography exhibition in Europe. Above, an image from his book titled ‘Painterly’
Captured on an impromptu trip to Cuba in 2018, Julian says he “loves” this photo titled “Focus.” The photo shows a woman in the side mirror of a vintage convertible, with the Havana coast stretching beyond.

For the book’s cover, Lennon selected a candid photo of him photographing Princess Charlene of Monaco from behind as she looks at herself in a mirror.
The image, titled ‘Charlene Wittstock #14’ and taken in 2011, was one of many taken by Lennon of the now Princess, literally 10 minutes before her civil wedding.
After spending months compiling his photography book, Lennon is now hoping for a music release this summer, “as well as a photography exhibition in Europe, which will be announced very soon.”
He adds: “After that, my main goal will be to complete my next memoir.”
