Jimmy Fallon made wild jokes about Biden’s COVID diagnosis during the Tonight Show’s opening monologue.
“On the bright side… it’s the first POSITIVE news he’s had in months,” Fallon joked to laughing audience members.
He went on to brutally mock the president, saying, “That’s right, Biden has COVID. Fortunately, he can’t spread it because Democrats have distanced themselves from him since the debate.”
“Biden had fatigue, cough and brain fog… and then he got COVID,” the 49-year-old comedian joked.
“Thankfully, Biden is expected to make a full recovery and his doctors say he’ll be back to 60 percent in no time.”

Fallon’s humorous take on the diagnosis came after news broke Wednesday that President Biden had contracted the disease and would be quarantined at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Bill Maher also mocked Biden on Friday night’s episode of Real Time.
‘Good news: Joe Biden only has minor COVID symptoms: headache, loss of smell, and an inability to see what’s coming,’ he posted on X.
Maher also joked about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump: “I’m glad you’re okay… because if you weren’t I wouldn’t be able to make jokes about you anymore.”
He then praised the Republican Party for a “very good convention,” until the end, when Trump gave a “93-minute” speech.
“Joe Biden has spent the last three weeks giving Americans plenty of reasons to doubt his mental acuity… and then Trump comes along and says ‘hold my beer,'” Maher said, attacking candidates from both parties.
A few days ago, Maher launched his latest attack on President Biden, saying there is “no chance” the 81-year-old will end up as the Democratic nominee.
The ‘Real Time’ host said in a recent appearance on The Rubin Report that Biden will eventually be forced to drop out of the race because “the pressure will continue to mount,” but insisted that for Democrats, “there’s still time” to turn things around.
“It doesn’t have to be a disaster,” said Maher, who previously claimed the president was “done” on Friday’s episode of “Real Time.”

Maher sat down with the show’s host, conservative commentator Dave Rubin, in an episode released Tuesday, though it appeared to have been recorded before the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
Rubin, a former Democrat who has since become a staunch Republican and backed Ron DeSantis’ presidential bid, began his interaction by calling Biden’s escalating campaign an “epic disaster” for Democrats.
But Maher responded that hope is not lost as long as Biden steps aside, and even speculated that the left might have an easier time defeating Trump if it nominates a moderate, charismatic candidate.
“This is a great opportunity, America likes what is new,” he said.
“It almost doesn’t matter who it is. Just someone new. The less we know about him, the better.”
Maher, directing his comments at the Democratic Party, continued: “All you have to do is have everyone who’s not 100 years old, has a ‘D’ in their name and is some kind of centrist and you can win this election. Just give us that option.”
On last week’s episode of Real Time, Maher predicted the exact date he thinks Joe Biden will step aside in the presidential race while giving an optimistic view of who could replace him.
The 68-year-old comedian mentioned Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris and Gretchen Whitmer as possible replacements, while insisting that “Biden is finished.”
He joked that “when” the 81-year-old retires, he will choose August 9 as the date, the same day Richard Nixon became the only president to resign in 1974.
