Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm throughout India. Even the IPL stars celebrated Holi in the middle of the rigorous schedule. Mumbai Indians celebrated the Holi festival today before heading to Hyderabad for their next encounter against SunRisers Hyderabad on March 27. Holi, the festival of colours, love and friendship, coincides with the Indian Premier League (IPL), the biggest spectacle in world cricket. When these two festivals, both driven by the purpose of inclusivity and joy, come together, a mesmerizing spectacle is created.

It turns out to be a sight to behold as various cricketers from all over the world, transcending nationalities and communities, enjoy the festival together.

Mumbai Indians also celebrated Holi celebration. Rohit Sharma and others were seen enjoying themselves. Even the cricketers’ family celebrated Holi with them. Hardik Pandya was seen with Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh during the Holi celebration.

Starting with the Delhi Capitals camp, Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who has finally made his much-awaited return to the field after a life-threatening car accident in 2022, was seen enjoying the festival along with his teammates. Along with him, Australian opener David Warner, who was seen with his captain, was completely drenched in colour.

Head coach Ricky Ponting and players Yash Dhull, South Africa’s Tristan Stubbs and Anrich Nortje, pacer Mukesh Kumar among others enjoyed the festival.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Shreyas Iyer was also not spared by his teammates as he was full of water and color within seconds of meeting them. Mentor Gautam Gambhir, players Suyash Sharma, Harshit Rana and Chetan Sakariya, among others, enjoyed the festival.

Coming to the Rajasthan Royals camp, spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was also seen enjoying the festival of colors with teammates Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal

Steve Smith, Australian star player and former England pacer Stuart Broad, who has had several battles during the Ashes series, also enjoyed the festival together as part of the IPL broadcast team.
