It was almost the kiss of death for a young couple when an ill-timed kiss caused their car to overturn.
The near-kissing incident occurred early on Tuesday morning in Glenelg North, a coastal suburb of Adelaide.
Emergency services and police were called to Tapleys Hill Road in response to reports of a car crashing and overturning.
After police spoke to the couple, it was revealed that an ill-timed kiss from the passenger distracted the driver while she changed the music.
The Mazda rolled, hit traffic signs and ended up on its side, coming to a stop near a residents’ fence near the corner of Jervois St.

The driver, a 25-year-old Plympton Park woman, was reported for aggravated driving and driving without due care.
