Olympic pole vault champion Armand Duplantis and his model girlfriend Desiré Inglander have been hailed by fans after their Paris 2024-themed Halloween costume.
Duplantis, affectionately known as ‘Mondo,’ took to social media to share his costumes on Thursday.
The pole vault world record holder imitated Turkish shooting silver medalist Yusuf Dikec, while Inglander opted to look like Australian breakdancer Raygun.
Dikec had gone viral on social media for his nonchalant pose while competing in the 10m mixed team air pistol event.
The Turkish shooter helped his team win silver in the event, but caught the attention of fans by having his non-shooting hand casually tucked into his pocket.

Inglander adopted the Australian uniform and the pose of breakdancer Raygun.
Duplantis replicated the pose on social media, replicating the shooter’s silver hair and wearing a T-shirt with the word ‘Turkyie’ on it.
Inglander was seen wearing the uniform of the Australian Olympics team, and the model struck one of the poses that made Raygun gain notoriety at the Games.
The Australian Olympic athlete, whose real name is Rachael Gunn, became a source of ridicule worldwide.
Dressed in an Australian tracksuit, the 37-year-old made Raygun perform an infamous performance, in which she jumped around like a kangaroo and struck a series of bizarre poses.
Raygun had received a total of 0.0 points from the judges.
Fans were quick to praise Duplantis and Inglander’s costumes on social media, with one labeling their Halloween efforts “iconic.”
“The quality is so high,” said one fan, while another posted “this is so fire.”
The pair were labeled the “coolest customers” by another, with another enjoying the choice by writing “No Raygun” and adding laughing emojis.

The Swede then made headlines after kissing his model girlfriend after his win.
It is not the first time that Duplantis imitates Dikec: the Swedish-American pole vault star adopted the Turkish shooter’s pose to celebrate the defense of his Olympic title in Paris.
He adopted the position after breaking the Olympic record of 6.10m to seal gold, and the star later revealed that Australian pole vaulter Kurtis Marschall had challenged him to adopt the position.
Duplantis then provided one of the highlights of the Games by breaking his own world record by clearing 6.25m.
He celebrated the feat by running towards Inglander, and the couple shared a passionate kiss in front of 70,000 spectators at the Stade de France and spectators around the world.
Duplantis revealed earlier this month that he had proposed to his content creator girlfriend, 23, in the glitzy Hamptons.
He had told Inglander that they were participating in a fancy photo shoot for Vogue, before getting down on one knee and popping the question.
He told Vogue Scandinavia: “I was more nervous than at the Olympics.”
Inglander told the publication: ‘I’m still in shock. I’m such a control freak that it’s impossible to surprise me.
However, the pole vault star had another surprise up her sleeve: She had brought her respective families, from Louisiana and Sweden, to celebrate her happy news.
The athlete has had a long-standing relationship with Inglander, from Sweden, where Armand’s mother is from, for almost four years.

The couple reportedly met in 2020 at a summer party in Sweden in 2020, during the festival that celebrates the longest day of the year, where the sun never sets in the country.
The two then hit it off, amid some setbacks involving language barriers and cultural differences: Armand grew up in the US and Desire grew up in Sweden.
