Washington DC police are desperately searching for a teenage girl after she was reportedly kidnapped Thursday night.
The Metropolitan Police Department issued a notice asking for help locating 14-year-old Nevaeha Orellana after she was last seen shortly before 11 p.m.
Authorities have issued an Amber Alert, increasing the importance of the missing persons case through social networks and the media.
Police described the young man as black, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. She was last seen in the 1300 block of Longfellow St.
According to officers, she was last seen wearing a white shirt, pink pants and black sneakers.

Police have said a person witnessed the apparent kidnapping and said two vehicles were used in the incident, according to Washington Post.
The outlet reported that a black Cadillac SUV and a silver sedan with the Virginia license plate 10992U were seen at the scene.
Officers said Friday morning they had no description of a possible suspect in the case.
