Donald Trump’s plane was forced to divert en route to a rally in Montana due to a “mechanical problem.”

The former president’s private Boeing 757, dubbed Trump Force One, landed in Billings, Montana, instead of its intended destination of Bozeman on Friday afternoon.

There were no reports of injuries and Trump is now set to board another plane that will take him to a rally in Bozeman scheduled for tonight.

The Trump campaign released a video of him landing in which he said he was happy to be in Montana, but did not mention anything about landing.

The Secret Service is currently conducting a sweep of the area before the new flight can take off, according to KVNH.

With control of the Senate potentially at stake, Trump will visit Montana on Friday to help oust incumbent Democratic Sen. Jon Tester.

Tester has tried to convince voters that he is aligned with Trump on many issues, mirroring his successful strategy from six years ago.

While that worked in a non-presidential election year, he faces a more critical test this fall with Tester’s opponent, former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy, trying to link the three-term incumbent to Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

Although Trump arrived a little late, the rally is not scheduled to start until 8 p.m. local time.

The rally will be held at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse on the Montana State University campus.
