Danni Whittaker predicted that 2024 would be the year her life would magically change, and shared a “spiritual” prophecy that “divine” powers would give her love and success this year.
In a series of frantic social media posts, he said this year would be the “year of truth, the year of killing more damn demons.”
“(It’s) the year to keep it real,” Ms. Whittaker wrote. ‘The year of not taking shit! The year of divine love and light.
‘What magic is to come. What a time to be alive!! Truly the best is yet to come. I know it, I’ve seen it!’
But tragically, 2024 would be Danni’s last, as her death in a high-rise apartment on the Gold Coast last week left her friends devastated.
In the weeks before her drug overdose at her own 40th birthday party, Danni posted online that 2024 was “the year to not hold back.”
And the Queensland businesswoman’s certainty that mystical forces were propelling her life toward greater things was linked to her reaching “the big 4-0.”
Danni Whittaker had predicted that spiritual forces would make 2024 the year everything would change for the better and that she was entering the new ‘Naughty 40’.
Danni said her spiritual awakening meant this year was “the year of not holding back.” The year of truth! The year of killing the most damn demons.
Danni said that the forces of the universe were changing and that this year she would achieve divine love and success and that it was “time for a massive change.”
In exuberant posts on her Facebook and Instagram pages, Danni described the year 2024 as “starting with a bang.” 2024!!!! Who’s fucking excited?
About her long-awaited birthday last week, she posted: ‘Age is just a number! Stay 8 forever. We’re here to have fun, idiots.
‘The universe is forcing me to do what I was always supposed to do! And it’s a fucked up vibe.”
Last week, friends posted birthday wishes on her Facebook page celebrating her becoming a “vintage model.”
Days later, the same people were posting about their grief for the woman who was “forever 40.”
Queensland Police revealed Danni went into cardiac arrest at her beachfront apartment at the Meriton Suites in Surfers Paradise while partying with six friends.
Paramedics treated other women at the scene and two 43-year-olds were taken to hospital, one recovered quickly and another was admitted to intensive care.
Together with Danni, they had allegedly ingested a cocktail of drugs, and two of the substances found in the apartment were drugs that Danni herself had said should be legal in a video on her Facebook page.

QPS Superintendent Peter Miles said on Tuesday that residue of cannabis, ketamine and mushroom capsules were found in the hotel room. It is believed that among the drugs the women had taken was also GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) or fantasy.
In a Facebook video she posted last October, Danni asked about the illegality of some drugs and wondered why “we can’t have a mushroom or a leaf.” A plant? But we can consume alcohol, cigarettes and vaporizers. Think about it.’
She became a prolific poster on Facebook and Instagram after leaving a 20-year corporate career in sales that she traded for a life of “fun employment” and new age spirituality as a “shamanic healer.”
Gleefully profane, Danni affectionately called her friends “c***s,” and even returned home from a business trip to the United States last November to be greeted by three friends, all dressed in T-shirts emblazoned with the words “welcome home, c***.” Danni’s t-shirt said ‘I’m the bastard.’
Danni revealed that 2023 had been difficult for everyone, but had forced her to “go on this journey of self-awareness, personal development and spirituality.”
Paramedics said Danni could not be revived at the scene after they were called at around 11pm last Friday to the flat where Ms Whittaker, who was already in cardiac arrest, was staying.
Last year she claimed she had performed demon exorcisms, destroyed vampires, seen aliens, fairies and archangels, as well as having a bad roommate, a shoulder injury and being drugged and robbed in California.
‘Last year was one of growth. Lessons, shadows, self-awareness, strength, trials, connections, pain and love,” he posted in January.
‘To prepare for this year in which our work will bear fruit. And this year we have the power of the dragons on our side.’
Danni asked her friends online, “Who’s excited and feeling the energy shift?” and she told them, ‘Yes, voodoo woodoo Danni is on!’
She encouraged them by saying, ‘To hell with it! And take advantage of your dragon energy.
‘So hold your mother, you damn horses, because it’s all happening.
“It’s time for massive change.”
Paramedics said Danni could not be revived at the scene after they were called at around 11pm last Friday night to the flat where they identified seven patients, including Ms Whittaker, who was already in cardiac arrest.
Queensland Ambulance Service inspector Mitch Ware said despite care from their High Acuity Response Unit, Danni “could not be resuscitated at the scene and was pronounced deceased”.
