New pictures from the sets of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana circulate on the Internet and are very popular. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Talking about the pictures that are trending on social media, they show Lara Dutta, Arun Govil and Sheeba Chaddha in their respective costumes. Lara Dutta is reportedly playing the role of Kaikeyi in the film. Arun Govil, known for his portrayal of Lord Rama in the 1987 TV series Ramayanhas reportedly been cast as Dashrath, while Sheeba Chaddha will play the role of Surpanakha in the film.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Arun Govil shared his thoughts about Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming portrayal of Lord Ram in the film. To talk with Bollywood spyArun Govil said, “As far as Ranbir is concerned, he is a good actor. He is an award-winning actor. If you love me more, you may have received a card. Bahut sanskaari bache hai vo actually. Unke andar moral, sanskar, sanskriti hai, maine dekha hai kai baar unko (From what I know about him, he works very hard. He is actually a very cultured child. He possesses morals, values and a deep sense of tradition. I have observed this several times. I am very sure he will try to do his best. It should work out well).’
