A cheeky male AI robot was caught touching a woman on the bum in front of an audience as she reported from an AI event.
In a funny photo, reporter Rawya Kassem can be seen standing on a panel in front of an android named Muhammad in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The reporter, dressed in a blue suit and holding a microphone, speaks directly into the camera while the realistic robot stood behind her in her red keffiyeh and long dress.
He can be seen slowly moving his head and body without Rawya realizing it, in what appears to be a natural and innocent maneuver of the machine.
But without warning, cheeky Muhammed raises his right hand and gently caresses Rawya’s butt as she addresses the camera at the DeepFest AI event.
Journalist Rawya Kassem spoke live at an artificial intelligence event in Saudi Arabia while standing next to the robot Muhammed.
As he spoke into his microphone, the human-like machine built by robotics firm QSS raised its hand and patted him on the butt.
Rawya was stunned by Muhammed’s apparent nerve and glared at him as he raised his hand.
Clearly caught off guard, Rawya turns and looks at the robot as he timidly lowers his hand.
She raises her free hand as if to give him a small slap, but smiles at her colleague before continuing her speech.
Muhammed returns to his natural posture and faces the crowd, leaving the spectators in shock and in stitches at the situation.
The clip has circulated on social media leaving viewers divided in their opinions, some hysterical and others worried.
One viewer asked: “What kind of coding have they done to the sheikh?”
Another commented: “That cheeky bastard.”
A third said: “Saudi Arabia introduces perverted male robot.”
“It is not correct to name an underdeveloped robot after Muhammad,” another intervened.
And another joked: “Saudi Arabia is now changing forever.”
Android Muhammad was developed by the Saudi robotics and artificial intelligence company QSS.
The event, DeepFest, he featured on X and wrote: ‘I am Muhammad, the first Saudi man-shaped robot.
“I was manufactured and developed here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a national project to demonstrate our achievements in the field of artificial intelligence.”
