Live34 updates

  • There are now 1:11 left in the game. Georgia Tech is on the edge of the field goal area.

  • There are only 2 minutes left in this game and Tech has the ball at the FSU 39-yard line.

  • The Yellow Jackets are on the move and have crossed halfway with just over four minutes remaining in the game. Haynes King has made some clutch plays during this contest, including a third-down conversion to keep GT’s offense alive.

  • Touchdown Noles!

The Seminoles are in the end zone on a 1-yard pass from Roydell Williams. It was a 15-play, 84-yard drive that included two clutch fourth-down passes from DJ Uiagalelei. We’ve got a game in Ireland, folks.

  • The Seminoles are putting together a nice offensive drive here. They just tried to get it done on fourth down and they succeeded, moving the ball inside GT’s red zone.

  • Georgia Tech Touchdown!

It’s Jamal Haynes again, leaping over bodies at the goal line to give Tech the lead to start the fourth quarter.

  • End of Q3: Georgia Tech 14, Florida State 14

GT’s Haynes King breaks into a 21-yard run on a draw and takes the ball to the FSU 1-yard line to end the quarter.

  • The Yellow Jackets move the ball at will with quick plays through the air. They are now inside FSU’s red zone.

  • However, FSU’s final punt may have been the highlight of the game. GT’s Rodney Shelley decided to make the catch without signaling for it and FSU’s Edwin Joseph hit him.

  • They are now trading punts. Both offenses have lost speed as the third quarter reaches its halfway point.

  • The Seminoles moved the ball into GT territory, but were forced to punt. Tech would recover the ball at its own 20-yard line.

  • However, the drive stalls at the FSU 34-yard line and GT’s Aidan Barr misses a 51-yard field goal attempt. We’re still tied at 14 yards.

  • We’re back for the second half and Georgia Tech’s Jamal Haynes just made a 36-yard out to get things started.

  • DJ Uiagalelei has been efficient so far in his FSU debut (12-14, 96 yards), but he hasn’t thrown the ball down the field much. The Seminoles might have to open up the playbook in the second half because the Yellow Jackets have been aggressive.

  • Halftime: Georgia Tech 14, Florida State 14

FSU’s Ryan Fitzgerald kicks a 59-yard field goal to tie the game. What a great kick!

  • The Seminoles are trying to score before halftime. We’re just under two minutes from the mark and they have the ball at their own 30-yard line.

  • Georgia Tech 14, Florida State 11

QB Haynes King did a lot of the legwork on that run series, but it’s Jamal Haynes who bullies his way into the end zone for the TD and the go-ahead.

  • GT is moving the ball once again with big plays. They are now in FSU’s red zone and have a chance to take the lead.

  • Florida State 11, Georgia Tech 7

GT’s defense tightens up, but FSU’s Ryan Fitzgerald kicks a 52-yard field goal to extend the lead.

  • Georgia Tech just bailed out FSU with a facemask foul on third down and now the Seminoles are in GT territory.
