Australians have discovered an unlikely pop-up store offering shoppers “amazing” deals on clothing, homewares, food and electronics.
Pop-up Vinnies locations have been set up around Victoria to help shoppers overcome the cost of living crisis ravaging the country.
Vinnies, or Society of St Vincent de Paul, is a charity working to provide support and assistance to people in need.
Most items are new stock donated by corporate partners, including holiday decorations.
Popular deals include large jars of Biscoff for $10, bags of Red Rock Deli chips for $2, and discount shoes from Boston Bros.
Shoppers will find men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, top-brand shoes and even electrical items at Vinnies’ pop-up locations.
Many have purchased vacuum cleaners, deep fryers, Adidas shoes, printers and kitchen knives at previous pop-up stores.
There is currently a location in Ascot Vale that is open until November 3, and another in Boronia that will remain open until Christmas or while stocks last.

A new store will open in Richmond at Dimmey’s on November 7.
The Richmond-themed location will focus on products for Christmas, summer and the holiday season, but will also include home goods, Bric-à-brac and electrical goods.
Shoppers have shared their opinions about the pop-up locations online.
“They have all the trendy products, it’s amazing,” said one.
“I bought a hair dryer from Vinnies and I’m obsessed with it,” wrote another.
“I’m always so lucky at Vinnies I have to leave,” one woman added.
For those interested in the finer things, shoppers have discovered a “hidden gem” discount retailer where they can find designer buys from brands like Fendi, Dior and Aje at affordable prices.
TK Maxx, which has stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia, is the answer to buying new clothes and shoes on a budget.
Beth Zazlanfrom Queensland, recently found a goldmine in clothing lines from Australian brands such as Camilla and Marc, Acler, Bec+Bridge, Shona Joy, Dion Lee, Zimmerman and Acler.
“I was there for a pillow, but I ended up buying some sparkly earrings from (American jewelry brand) Badgley Mischka,” Beth told FEMAIL.
TK Maxx sells old stock from previous seasons and shoppers have described it as a “clearance treasure hunt”.
Many have seen bags from Fendi, Dior and Bottega Venetta on sale.
Others have seen Gucci and Versace sunglasses, Hugo Boss accessories and Christopher Esber dresses.
Beth said: “I was really impressed, so if you’re looking for a bargain head there.”
A David Jones employee revealed in a comment that discounted items from stores that don’t sell are sent to TK Maxx.
