Left-wing ‘squad’ Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lashed out at an anti-Israel protester who confronted her and her fiancé at a movie theater demanding she call what is happening in Gaza a ‘genocide.’
Visibly angry, Ocasio-Cortez railed against protesters.
‘I already said it was. And all of you are going to pretend that it wasn’t like that. And again. He’s screwed, man. And you’re not helping these people. You’re not helping them,” he says.
‘Why don’t you say it in front of everyone, why us?’ one responds.
The protesters continue: “If you can’t say it, just say it.” Literally. We just talk to you like normal people. Just say it’s genocide. Just say it. Over 30,000 people have died AOC, can’t you say it for once? Just say the word, that’s all. That’s all we want you to say.
Roberts tries to dissuade the protesters from following her as they left the theater.
At one point, Ocasio-Cortez gets angry that they’re going to take what she says “out of context” and make it viral.
Ocasio-Cortez, considered the most prominent leftist in the House of Representatives, has criticized Israel even in the weeks after the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack.
He joined his fellow Democrats in the hours after the attack to call for a “de-escalation and ceasefire” and has repeated those claims, criticizing both Israel and Hamas and describing the IDF military campaign as committing “crimes of war”.

Ocasio-Cortez was even criticized for her Christmas post in which she called Israel a violent occupying force and compared Jesus to the Palestinians.
Posting to Instagram on Christmas Eve, AOC shared a photo of a child lying on a pile of rubble surrounded by wooden nativity scene icons.
Accompanying the photo, the New Yorker wrote: “In the Christmas story, Christ was born in modern-day Palestine under the threat of a government involved in a massacre of innocents.”
He went on to compare Jesus being persecuted by King Herod to the “right-wing forces” currently “violently occupying Bethlehem.”
Her post sparked a fierce reaction online, with some accusing her of “Jew-hatred.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s sympathies toward the Palestinians were noted as early as 2019, her first year in Congress.
He claimed that Palestinians have no choice but to riot against Israel and agreed with a radio host that the country is “criminal.”
