This is not the Disney-style ending that an American professional bull rider was hoping for during an event in Brazil.
Elijah Monnett was attacked by a bull known as ‘Mickey Mouse’ at the 31st Barretos International Rodeo, in Barretos, São Paulo, on Thursday.
The 25-year-old Utah native was on the beast for just four seconds as the crowd at Rodeo Stadium Arena cheered before he was ejected.
Monnett then stood up as a cowboy lifeguard approached to check on him and turned his back on Mickey Mouse, who nearly gored him and lifted him off the ground, pinning both men against the fence.

Jaxton Mortensen, one of three Americans competing in a bull riding event in Brazil, was nearly crushed after the bull slipped and crashed to the ground.
Later in the event, Arizona native Jaxton Mortensen was nearly crushed by a bull nicknamed “Metamorphosis” when the large animal slipped and fell just seconds after exiting the bull.
The 20-year-old landed on his right side and began to crawl when a street sweeper ran to his side and dragged him to the door, where he tried to help him to his feet.
Mortensen was taken to a local emergency center for medical evaluation, Brazilian news outlet G1 reported.
Monnett and Mortensen did not respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com.

The event features 35 bull riders, including three from the United States.
Alvaro Aguilar, from Jalisco, Mexico, scored 90 points in the first round riding Gatilho.
The winner of the four-day event takes home 200,000 reais, or about $36,500, and advances to the American Rodeo in Arlington, Texas, in April 2025.
At stake for the event, billed as the ‘Crown Jewel of Rodeo,’ is a $1 million prize.
