Acromazing acrobatic troupe win Australia’s Got Talent and take home $100,000 in prizes

Acromazing has been crowned the new champion of Australia’s Got Talent, taking home a whopping $100,000 in prizes.

Judges Kate Ritchie, Shane Jacobson, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams whittled the number of finalists down to just six, but it was the voting public that decided the winner.

After host Ricki-Lee revealed the results, Acromazing’s Maddi Lacey said the group’s win was “life-changing”.

“We just want to thank everyone in the crowd tonight, all the contestants, all the girls at Acromazing, all our beautiful trainers and all of Australia for voting for us to win, and also our beautiful judges.”

Her ride wowed the audience and the judges, who called her moves “captivating”.

Alesha Dixon described her Grand Final routine as ‘infectious to watch’, fused with ‘heart and soul’ and said her song choice was ‘perfect’.

Kate Ritchie added: “Unbelievably beautiful… I have a little daughter too and to see a group of girls working so wonderfully together, you should be so proud.”

The group took home $100,000 in prize money after defeating five grand finalists.

They were Ukrainian aerial sensation Oleg, balancing phenomenon Ramadhani Brothers, comedian Emo Majok, traveling circus clown Walison Muh and 11-year-old rising pop star Sienna Katelyn.
