Jimmy Fallon Has Been Accused By Viewers Of Barely Concealing His 'Contempt' During An Interview With The Costco Guys

Jimmy Fallon has been accused by viewers of “barely” hiding “his contempt” during an interview with the Costco Guys on their late-night talk show.

The host, 50, was joined by TikTok stars AJ, Big Justice and The Rizzler on Monday’s episode, and the trio gushed about the catchphrases they made famous in their viral social media videos.

But the segment was notably awkward, especially when Jimmy rudely interrupted his guest Big Justice shortly after he asked him to explain his infamous ‘Boom meter’ rating.

‘You have something on your channel called the Boom meter, can you explain how the Big Justice Boom meter works?’ the presenter had asked.

Big Justice responded: ‘So we did this, “boom or bust.” But everyone said: “You don’t give any sentence”, blah, blah, blah. Good?

‘Well, we came up with the boom meter because people rate things from one to 10. So, we said, it goes from one to five booms.

“If it’s good: four booms, okay: two booms, bad: one boom, amazing: five big booms.”

At that moment, Big Justice, Dad AJ, and The Rizzler were about to shout five booms in unison, but Jimmy intervened to stop them.

“Okay,” Jimmy interrupted. “Yes, five booms.”

He then advanced the segment so his guests could rate the Halloween candy with their boom rating.

Unimpressed viewers flooded social media where they criticized Jimmy for his behaviour.

Addressing X, one said: ‘Has anyone else noticed Jimmy Fallon’s barely contained disdain for the Costco Guys and their BOOM Meter?’

Another said: “I’ve never hated Jimmy Fallon more than right now.”

‘He doesn’t appreciate the playfulness or whimsy of the Costco Guys, or even The Rizzler.

‘It excludes them, it ignores the love they have to give to the world. I hope he goes to hell the moment he breathes his last.

A third added: “I can’t stop thinking about how much Jimmy Fallon hated the Costco guys.”

“I love how the Costco guys are having fun and Fallon is absolutely livid,” a fourth continued.

Others were a little more understanding.

“If I were Jimmy, I’d be so angry I’d try to move on to the next guest,” one said.

Echoing a similar sentiment, another said: “Of all the influencers out there, I think this family has to be the most annoying of all.”

Father-son duo AJ and Big Justice (real names Andrew and Eric Befum) have taken the Internet by storm with their Costco reviews, in which they approve or disapprove of products using their boom rating.

Rizzler, although not related to AJ and Big Justice, is also famous for his social media profile.

The third-grader, whose real name is Christian Joseph, gained popularity on TikTok after uploading a video of himself dressed in a Black Panther costume.

He is also known for doing the ‘rizz face’, a move in which he pouts and strokes his chin.

In June, it was confirmed that Jimmy had renewed his contract to host NBC’s late-night talk show through 2028.

The news came nearly a year after 16 current and former employees accused him of creating a “toxic work environment.”

Last September, they alleged to Rolling Stone that Jimmy was known for his “outbursts” and “anger attacks,” forcing employees to sob in “cry rooms” and causing several of them to have suicidal thoughts.

A source told DailyMail.com at the time: “The things reported in this article happened years ago and simply do not reflect the current atmosphere.”
