8-Year-Old Delhiite Scales Annapurna Base Camp | Other Sports News

The smile that shows her snow-white teeth amid the snow of Annapurna Base Camp in the season of the festival of colors tells the story of the spirited and passionate young trekker Swakriti Insan. It took her just three days to ascend to Annapurna Base Camp from Jinudada, Pokhara, Nepal. Her descent from the ABC was completed in one day. This is a big milestone, but a small fleet in the big trekking career she is currently dreaming of.

Standing at an altitude of 4130 meters, she plans her next trek and aims to reach Mount Everest Base Camp. Swakriti met the fellow trekkers from Nepal, Singapore, Spain, USA and many other countries. They said she was full of enthusiasm during the trip and led the large group. She didn’t even take a break during the descent, except for a lunch break in Bamboo.

This achievement is not the first time for Swakriti; She ran up to 10K at the age of five during the COVID-19. She also recently completed a 5km marathon run organized by Dwarka Express Runners in Delhi, India. This provided the much-needed physical stamina to perform this amazing task with ease.

When asked if you would like a Barbie as a reward for this achievement, Swakriti said, “No, I want to go on a more challenging journey.” This was the confidence of the young girl that can take her to heights in the future career. She is like the unpolished diamond, but every new attempt will polish her so that she shines brightly.
