Yodha has experienced fluctuations in box office performance. On Day 9, the film headlined by Sidharth Malhotra collected ₹1.42 crore, as reported by Commercial. So far, the action thriller has collected ₹27.57 crore, the report said. Released on March 15 Yodha is jointly directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre. The film tells the story of Arun Katyal, a special task force officer who works to protect the country from terrorists at any cost. However, he is later suspended and labeled a ‘traitor’. Besides Sidharth Malhotra, Yodha Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna also play crucial roles.

A few days ago, Sidharth Malhotra’s wife, actress Kiara Advani, gave a shout-out to her husband’s film by writing a special note on her Instagram Stories. The star praised the film, writing: “Excellent.” For Sidharth, she added, “Sidharth Malhotra, you have made us all so proud. One of the best in this genre.” Kiara Advani tagged the film’s directors Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and said, “I can’t believe this is your first.” Kiara applauded Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna’s performances and said, “Watch out for these two YodhaS. Bow down to the entire cast and crew of the film.” Click here to read all about it.

In his review for WhatsNew2Day, film critic Saibal Chatterjee indicated Yodha 1.5 out of 5 stars and wrote: “All in Yodha, an insufferably scrappy thriller, is a baffling blur. Figuring out what’s going on is best left to troopers who have no fear of the unfathomable. At the beginning of the film, the main character walks out of a deep river with a smoke bomb in his hand. It broadcasts the three colors of the national flag. The man certainly knows the technique of keeping a smoke flame dry in water. He does even better in the climax with another three-color spewing smoke bomb that survives an explosion and a full-blown inferno.

Yodha is jointly backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Amazon Prime Video and Mentor Disciple Entertainment.
