Scott Peterson’s ex-lover Amber Frey appears in the new Netflix documentary American Murder: Laci Peterson, in which she talks about her experiences with the killer.
Frey, 49, who helped California police secretly gather evidence against Scott while having an affair with him, has kept a low profile since Peterson was arrested in 2003.
The massage therapist had been having an extramarital affair with the fertilizer salesman before his wife Laci was murdered on December 24, 2002.
He later recounted his experiences with his wife’s killer in a tell-all 2005 book called Witness, in which he spoke about how he became involved with Scott and then helped police arrest him.
Frey now lives in Fresno, California and has kept a relatively low profile since the murder trial that shocked the world.
She married American police officer Robert Hernandez in 2006, according to Yahooand they divorced two years later.
Amber has two children, daughter Ayiana and son Justin, with an unknown partner, who were born before her relationship with Peterson.
The blonde beauty was said to be uncomfortable with the level of fame she received after the trial and worked hard to return to a relatively normal life.

Frey told the US Today Show in 2015 that while her decision to help police arrest Scott changed her life forever, she did not regret doing so.
“I’m still very recognizable, it’s never gone away in that sense. It changed my life. My kids’ lives,” Frey began.
“I don’t regret anything. As crazy as it sounds, I would do it all over again. It wasn’t about me. There’s a woman missing who is carrying a child. If I had something to say that would help, yes, definitely.”

Unbeknownst to Frey, she was Peterson’s lover for weeks before he killed his heavily pregnant wife.
She cleverly maintained their relationship while helping the police catch him as a suspect in the chilling murder case.

Frey, who was a single mother to her young daughter at the time, revealed that she had just finished school in California when one of her friends told her there was a “handsome guy” looking to “meet the one” and introduced her to Peterson.
In an interview with the new Netflix series, Amber commented on her new relationship with Scott: “We started talking on the phone. I thought he was handsome, he had a really nice smile and a good head on his shoulders.”
During their courtship, which she says began around November 2002, Amber asked Scott if he had ever been married, and he said no.
When she asked him if he wanted to have children in the future, Amber recalls him saying that his own daughter Ayiana “would be enough.”
