Tunisia has unveiled Hannibal Mejbri in a spectacular ceremony after switching his international allegiances with France.
The highly regarded Manchester United midfielder previously represented France at Under-16s and Under-17s.
However, 18-year-old Mejbri has now committed to play for Tunisia and recently received his first international call-up for the matches against DR Congo, Algeria and Mali.

Tunisia chose to expose Mejbri as their player in an elaborate way.
While a crowd of dignitaries and journalists were in an auditorium, there was a countdown and dramatic music played.
After an intense build-up, Mejbri eventually walked onto the stage against a backdrop of strobe lights and flames.

Mejbri made his senior debut for United when he was used as a substitute against Wolves in the final Premier League game of the season.
Previously with Monaco, Mejbri signed for United in 2019 and has delivered some impressive performances at the youth level.
For example, this season he won the Denzil Haroun Reserve prize for player of the year.
