Donald Trump has revealed whether Melania Trump will join him in the White House for his second term.
The president-elect, in an interview with Time magazine named Person of the Yearfocused on reports that the incoming first lady plans to remain in New York, where their son Barron is attending New York University.
When Time asked if his wife would join him in the White House, Trump replied, “Oh yes.”
He pointed out how active she was in the final weeks of his presidential campaign.
‘She was, she was very, she even became very active towards the end, as you saw in interviews. And she does it, she does it well. People are really watching. She is very loved by the people, Melania,” Trump noted.

The president-elect spoke repeatedly about his wife in the interview, noting that his MAGA loyalists are Melania’s.
‘They really love her. Actually, in many ways, when I give speeches, we love our First Lady. they have signs, we love our First Lady. No, she will be active, when she needs to, when she needs to,” he added.
During his first term, Melania moved to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their son Barron. After Trump won the 2020 election, Melania waited to join him until Barron finished his school year. The youngster was then transferred to a school in Washington DC.
She spent much of her time as first lady raising their son.
Melania joined her husband at the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning, where he rang the opening bell in honor of his being named Time’s Person of the Year.
She has sounded the alarm before. When she was first lady, she did this to promote her Be Best campaign.
Trump acknowledged that his wife beat him to be the first to achieve that particular honor, noting that she was “very popular” as first lady.
“She rang the doorbell,” he said.
She then joined him on the trading floor as he shook hands with traders afterwards. The couple also posed for a selfie with Jeff Sprecher, chairman of the New York Stock Exchange.

She pointed out that she lived in the White House for four years and knows it well.
‘It’s very different this time because we already know where we’re going and we have all the plans from before. So we don’t have to go inside anymore,” she told Fox & Friends.
“My team is in contact with the White House, so that’s a plus. But we have everything we need, so this is the second time, so it’s nothing new. The first time was a challenge. We didn’t have much access, we were in on January 20th. But this time it is already happening,” she added.
Melania said she’s busy packing her belongings, setting up her office and interviewing staff.
“I know what you need to determine,” she said. ‘You know what kind of people you have to hire to come and work in your office. So that’s what I do now. I interview people for my office. I’m arranging everything necessary so that we can start on day one, everyone is there and we can get started.’
Melania told Fox & Friends that she plans to bring back her Be Best initiative. She also talked about her collectibles, like NFT and Christmas ornaments, that she sells online.
