Except this time, she was a spectator who was there to watch Serbian Novak Djokovic and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz battle for the gold medal.
The 42-year-old Golden Slam winner was engrossed in the final match of the men’s singles tournament at these Olympic Games.
Her blonde curls were loose and contrasted with her black student jacket, tank top, pants and sunglasses.
With his victory, Djokovic becomes only the fifth player in tennis history to win the Golden Slam in singles, joining Rafael Nadal, Serena, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf.

The match was a rematch of the 2024 Wimbledon final, in which Novak defeated his rival 7-6 7-6 in the men’s singles final at the Stade Roland-Garros on Sunday afternoon.
This marked Serbia’s second gold medal in Paris and the country’s eighth as an independent nation in its history.
After claiming an Olympic title at his fifth attempt, Djokovic said the win was “arguably the biggest” success of his glittering career.

Both men jumped in to help Veronica Fraley, a member of the U.S. team who competes as a discus thrower in track and field, who posted the night before her event that she couldn’t pay her rent on X (formerly Twitter).
‘I’m competing in the Olympics TOMORROW and I can’t even pay rent – my school only sent about 75% of my rent while soccer players (who haven’t won anything) get paid enough to buy new cars and houses,’ she shared.

Less than two hours later, Ohanian returned to X and wrote: “Update! It’s done,” he wrote simply in a post, along with another message saying Fraley had received $7,760.
