As they chatted with both the former footballer and Harry Redknapp, the team seemed upbeat as they discussed Soccer Aid’s return.

After the stars of the annual charity football match were revealed, the group continued to debate who would be a suitable manager for the England team.
As Emily said: “Roy Hodgson would be good ex Liverpool and England…” interrupted Susanna, “Ex Liv, ex England and ex… the best team in English football.. Crystal Palace!’

Maya Jama, Olly Murs and Wayne Rooney led the all-star lineup for Soccer Aid 2021, as announced this Monday.
Other famous faces include singers James Arthur, Chunkz and Tom Grennan, former Love Islander Kem Cetinay and football players David James and Ashley Cole.
Former England player Fara Williams is also on the bill, as is icon Gary Neville.
Olympian Usain Bolt, reality star Mark Wright, TV host Ore Oduba, soccer freestyler and sports presenter Liv Cooke, radio star Roman Kemp will also return to the Soccer Aid field.

Other football stars taking part include Kelly Smith, Roberto Carlos, Patrice Evra, Emile Heskey and Jamie Redknapp.
The annual charity competition, which raises money for Unicef, pits England against the rest of the world for a live show hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Alex Scott on ITV.
The match will take place on 4 September at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and will be broadcast on ITV and STV.
While the England team is without a captain, Harry Redknapp returns as manager of the rest of the world team.

When asked why he leads the team from the rest of the world and not England, Harry confessed: ‘I don’t know! I can’t figure it out myself.
“I ran England for a few years. If I could change I certainly would, I’ll have to talk to someone and see if I can change.”
The manager also spoke of teaming up with Piers Morgan in the 2019 game, joking ‘he took over quickly and I became his assistant’, to which Susanna joked, ‘I know that feeling!’
Meanwhile, Susanna is a lifelong fan of Crystal Palace and patroness of the football club’s Palace for Life Foundation.
The presenter was also in a relationship with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parrish, 56, who she is said to have reconciled after the pair were spotted having dinner together in April.
Susanna went public with Steve in November 2018 when they were photographed during a game between Crystal Palace and Chelsea.
They broke up just months later in April 2019 after a nine-month relationship, as Susanna insisted that they remain close friends.
