Sue Radford has revealed her family will no longer move into a £850,000 detached country house because it “flopped” and they decided they “didn’t want a mortgage when they were 60”.

The 22-year-old mother announced the news on instagramafter fans became curious about the property in a recent post.

‘Are you still moving house?’ she was asked in a photo she shared, announcing that 22 Kids & Counting was now available on Ch5 HD.

“No, we’re not, but it’s all in the yet-to-air series,” Sue responded.

But when a commentator accused the family of doing “all that just to get TV ratings and free holidays”, the matriarch of “Britain’s biggest family” explained the situation.

“No, it failed and we decided we didn’t want a mortgage until we were 60,” he revealed. “I’m too old for that now.”

Sue later added: “I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and I’m so glad he’s taken it off the market now.”

“Oh what a shame,” another fan added. ‘I thought that house was perfect for your family.

“As long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters.”

In January, Noel and Sue Radford revealed how they were forced to kick out five of their children after moving to the countryside.

The parents of Britain’s largest family have lived in a Victorian house in Morecambe, Lancashire, with several of their children for 11 years.

They tried to sell it three years ago, but couldn’t get the price they wanted and monetary tensions forced them to stay.

But the couple revealed they were doing better financially, thanks to several TV and social media deals, which allowed them to buy a larger, more secluded home.

On 22 Kids and Counting on Channel 5, Sue and Noel also said they wanted to leave because fans kept turning up at their door, taking pictures of the house and even wandering around their garden.

In an episode earlier this year, one fan even revealed that he had traveled from Scotland to see the family and was delighted to visit their bakery.

“People showing up at the house is a common occurrence,” Sue explained.

“I’m happy to talk to people when I’m out and about, but standing on your doorstep is too much.”

After a slow start to their house search, Noel and Sue finally discovered a house in the countryside that they said was “perfect.”

“We’ve found our dream home,” Sue said as she looked around the five-bedroom, 2,690 sq ft cottage, which was priced at £850,000.

The next day, Noel decided to make an offer and was delighted when it was accepted.

But quickly, many of the children realized that even with two in a room, there is not enough space for everyone.

Sue revealed the house news in the Instagram comments on a post announcing that 22 Kids & Counting is now on Ch5 HD.
