The song Tilasmi Bahrain from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Heeramandi, released on Wednesday and even trending a day later. On Thursday, Sonakshi Sinha’s friend and actor Zaheer Iqbal shouted out the song and wrote in an Instagram post, “Some things are just too inspiring to be just a fleeting story. So here’s a post of something and someone that inspires me.. .Matlab look at this year … kamaalll…seriously kya he boley koi…Matlab really…just…wowwwwww. Aaiiii haiiiiii Fareedannnnn. Kaatillllllll (killer). Tilasmi means magic. Magic = you.” Aditi Rao Hydari, who is seen at the end of the video, dropped black heart emojis. Sonakshi Sinha dropped teary eyes emojis.

Heeramandi will showcase the story of the courtesans of Lahore and explore the lesser known aspects of their lives. The series features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Shaikh. The series is scheduled for May 1 on Netflix.
