Zara Hull and Kaylie Pitze fell seriously ill during their dream vacation in Mexico
‘I have to tell you bluntly that I find it very strange, a very strange situation because if someone’s health is affected in an establishment, the first thing you do is report the establishment where you were possibly or supposedly poisoned.’
Meanwhile, hotels, bars and restaurants have been put on high alert.
Hull previously described the moment she and Pitze passed out in front of her terrified boyfriend Jake.
“We both went to get water and within two minutes, Jake turned around and we both went to the bar, heads down at the same time,” she said.
Hull said she experienced seizures before passing out and becoming “basically paralyzed.”
Snider rushed her to the hospital and stayed by her side as staff reportedly demanded thousands of dollars for treatment.
“They had raised the amount they wanted. The minimum was $10,000 to be considered,” Hull said.
At first, Hull was unable to breathe on her own and was put on a ventilator.
He has since returned to the US and is undergoing physical therapy as part of his recovery.
“They had me captive. We are university students and we don’t have the money they are asking for.”
Meanwhile, she suffered seizures throughout the night and doctors intubated her.
Stephanie Snider, the mother of Hull’s boyfriend Jake, said she believes they were drugged by people who wanted to harvest or traffic their organs.
“We believe they were planning to take her for trafficking or maybe even to harvest her organs (which we were later told is a common occurrence),” Snider wrote in an emotional Facebook post.
Hull said hospital staff demanded even more money to free her and that the air ambulance to bring her back to the United States cost $26,000.
A day after drinking the suspicious drink, the group arranged to fly a private plane to Dallas.
An update on GoFundMe indicated that Hull is now “home and doing well.”

Pitze did not end up in the hospital, but she had a difficult 24 hours after possibly being drugged.
“Zara is feeling better physically every day, although she is still a little unsteady and dizzy at times,” said Stephanie Snider, Jake’s mother.

‘Kaylie is still struggling with these things too, so prayers are still needed for these girls.
“He will continue to work on physical therapy exercises to strengthen and stabilise himself,” he added of Hull.
