Shocking footage has emerged of former NHL player Paul Bissonnette being assaulted by a group of men last month at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Bissonnette, who later described the group as “a bunch of drunk golfers,” became involved in an all-out brawl with six men on Nov. 24 after he allegedly tried to stop one of them from harassing an establishment manager.
And the Scottsdale Police Department has released footage of the fight, showing a shirtless Bissonnette confronting the men in a parking lot.
In the footage, Bissonnette, who last appeared in the NHL during the 2013-14 season, can be seen being kicked and punched while on the ground, before running away from the men.
Another clip from the footage, which was posted on X by Sean Rice from 12 newsIt also shows the moment Bissonnette approached the men at the Houston restaurant.
The former hockey player was quickly ambushed by the group of men as bystanders ran to leave the restaurant.

Bissonnette said in a video posted on X that one of the men was confronting the manager and putting his hands on him.
The ex-Phoenix Coyote intervened, grabbing the man by the arm and telling him they would be in trouble if he continued to harass the staff.
Video posted by Bianca Buonoalso from 12News, also shows suspect Sean Daley saying he didn’t know what the cops were talking about when they arrested him for his alleged role in the fight.
Another suspect, Henry Mesker, also told police he was unaware of what had happened inside the restaurant.
In the end, Daley, Mesker, John Carroll, William Carroll, Danny Bradley and Edward Jennings were charged with assault, according to Fox 10 Phoenix.
Bissonnette also claimed that a seventh man who was not arrested was involved in the altercation.
Additionally, some men were also charged with disorderly conduct.

Bissonnette spent six years in the NHL, five of which were with the Phoenix Coyotes.
Daley was also charged with felony possession of a forged instrument after he allegedly admitted to having a fake military ID, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
Bissonnette, known as a “tough guy” in the NHL due to his frequent fights, said after the incident that he “took a little” but “gave more” and that he was fine despite getting “hit in the head.” ‘ on several occasions.
He showed a couple of marks on his face, but otherwise appeared unharmed.
He added that he was “very, very angry” at the men and wanted their names made public.
