Pamela Anderson fans are outraged that the ‘amazing’ actress was not nominated for an Academy Award for her acclaimed film The Last Showgirl.
The 2025 Oscar nominations were announced Thursday morning and the former Baywatch star was not on the list.
Pam’s fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their anger over the snub.
“She’s an amazing actress, why the hell did they leave her off the list?” asked a fan.
Another chimed in: “Pamela was treated badly at the Academy Awards, it’s not fair.”
This fan said that the mermaid should not only have been nominated but should have already won because she was “magnificent and heartbreaking on so many levels.” Cheers beautiful Pam!!!
Many of Anderson’s fans believe she would be nominated for an Oscar, as she was for a Golden Globe and a SAG Award.

This comes after Anderson said the success of The Last Showgirl is “the best revenge” after Pam & Tommy.
The 57-year-old actress was devastated by the Hulu series about her turbulent relationship with ex-husband Tommy Lee, but says the critical success of her latest film has helped her get over it.
Speaking on Sirius XM’s ‘Andy Cohen Live’, he said: ‘It’s just one of those things. It happened and now I am here and this is the best revenge… I am being seen and recognized for my work and not for these moments of bad taste.”
When asked about the Hulu series, starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Pamela and Tommy, he said, “I had no involvement.” No one called me, which was very strange and painful. I think it’s ethically illegal. But I mean, you’re a pushover. I remember a long time ago people telling me that you’re basically public property and you have no right to privacy.’
When asked if anyone from Hulu has ever reached out to her to apologize, she responded, “No, they haven’t.”
Speaking previously about the series, which recreated the moment her sex tape with ex-husband Tommy Lee was stolen, Pamela told The Hollywood Reporter: “I blocked him out of my life. I had to do it to survive, really. It was a survival mechanism. Now that everything is coming back up, I feel sick all over, from the middle of my chest to my stomach now it feels like I’ve just been punched.’

Anderson also said that she had a “hunger to express herself” before starring in The Last Showgirl.
The actress believes director Gia Coppola was able to see past the ‘nonsense’ surrounding her life, after watching Pamela’s 2023 Netlix documentary, Pamela: A Love Story.
The Hollywood star, who plays Shelley Gardner, a Las Vegas showgirl, in the drama film, said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: “Gia watched the documentary and she could see someone.
“Thank God she was able to see through all the nonsense, you know, and see that I was a woman eager to express herself.”
Pamela is grateful that Gia, 38, gave her the opportunity to show her talent in ‘The Last Showgirl’.
