Ronda Rousey calls WWE an ‘absolute shit show’ and vows not to return as she accuses the organization of keeping their stars ‘captive’… after calling Vince McMahon an ‘evil, unethical slimeball’ .

Ronda Rousey has criticized WWE and says she has no plans to return to the promotion.

Rousey rose to fame after becoming the first UFC women’s bantamweight champion and the biggest female star in UFC history.

The 37-year-old then moved into wrestling in 2018, signing with WWE before making her debut at Wrestlemania 34.

She remained on the list until last year. Before the release of her autobiography, “Our Fight,” Rousey vowed to never return to the channel.

“(The book reveals) what an absolute shit show it is in WWE,” Rousey said.

“Because they can’t hold a sword over my head and take me hostage with my own career. I don’t need anything from them, and I have no intention of going back, so I can actually say everything I think and feel, where everyone else who is still held captive by their organization cannot.

“We were contractually obligated to 90,000 words, and I was going to talk a lot more shit, including John Laurinaitis and Bruce Prichard.

“But our editor said we needed to streamline everything and not take any detours, like the ‘f*** these old bastards’ quest. There was a lot more to do, but I basically focused on the meat and potatoes.

Rousey also took aim at Vince McMahon, who became the center of sex trafficking allegations earlier this year and resigned from his role at TKO.

“It’s sometimes difficult to know where the evil, unethical character of Vince McMahon played on camera ends and the real, ethically questionable character, repeatedly sued and repeatedly accused of sexual misconduct, begins. …,” she said.

In WWE, Rousey competed in WrestleMania’s first headlining women’s match, in a three-way bout also featuring Charlotte Flair, daughter of legendary professional wrestler Ric Flair, and Becky Lynch.

Lynch won the triple threat contest in one of Rousey’s only losses during her WWE tenure.

Rousey’s last match with WWE took place last summer against fellow former MMA competitor Shayna Baszler, who won.
