Is everything going well in the Mumbai Indian camp? Ever since Hardik Pandya took over the captaincy of the franchise from Rohit Sharma, there has been a lot of speculation about a said ‘rift’ in the squad. While Hardik’s debut as MI’s full-time captain ended with a six-point defeat to his former franchise Gujarat Titans, his leadership qualities and his rapport with other players in the team are back in the spotlight. A video of Jasprit Bumrah and former captain Rohit indulging in an intense post-match conversation has fueled the flames of rumours.
Rohit was seen post-match along with senior pacer Hardik, middle-order batsman Tilak Varma and veteran spinner Piyush Chawla. In the video, Bumrah looked angry about something and he pointed out the same to Rohit.
All the while, Hardik met his former GT teammate Shubman Gill, who was given the captaincy of the franchise after the all-rounder decided to return to MI. Ishan Kishan was also spotted with Hardik at this time.

Seeing the videos hitting social media, fans started wondering if all is well in the MI camp. While the videos don’t suggest much, it was earlier said that there might be a sense of disappointment among players after the franchise bosses decided to replace Rohit with Hardik as the skipper.
Hardik Pandya was severely criticized for some of his decisions on the field. His decision not to hand Jasprit the new ball, as well as the call for himself to bat at number 7, were questioned by many.
While there is no denying that Hardik led MI to two consecutive IPL finals as captain of the Gujarat Titans, he is yet to win the hearts of Mumbai Indians fans. The all-rounder also faced boos and jeers from the crowd in Ahmedabad when the two teams faced off at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
