The players and support staff of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will arrive in Visakhapatnam on Sunday ahead of their IPL 2024 match against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Wednesday. The Shreyas Iyer-led side have emerged as one of the early pace setters in the IPL points table after winning both their matches so far. On Friday, KKR defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a one-sided encounter. They now have four points from two games and occupy second place in the points table.
On the way to Vizag, we saw the KKR players having a good time on the flight, especially Rinku Singh and Andre Russell.
Rinku sang ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ from Shah Rukh Khan’s Bollywood film ‘Dunki’.
Rinku told the videographer to ask Russell to sing the song. However, Russell responded, “Don’t sing that song, it’s my song.”
As soon as Russell started singing the song, everyone burst into laughter, including Rinku, who seemed to have mocked the West Indian all-rounder for his accent.

After the win against RCB, KKR captain Iyer praised Russell and Sunil Narine, calling them “useful and phenomenal” assets of the franchise.
Both Narine and Russell put in a scintillating performance for KKR. With the ball, Narine scalped one wicket, while Russell took two.
On the other hand, Narine opened for the Kolkata franchise during the chase along with Philip Salt and scored an impressive 47 runs from 22 balls at a strike rate of 213.64. He was also named ‘Player of the Match’.
“You can’t choose because you are talking about bowling with death on one side and opening on the other. They are both very useful and phenomenal for the team because if they have a rough game with the ball they can do that too.” Make up for it with the bat. This is a big positive for our team,” Iyer said in a JioCinema press release.
