Mumbai Indians star batsman Ishan Kishan and spinner Kumar Kartikeya were among the players who wore superhero jumpsuits as punishment. When the team left Mumbai a day after the IPL 2024 match against Rajasthan Royals, players like Kishan and Kartikeya were among the four MI players who were punished. It is worth noting that five-time champions MI punish their players who are late to team meetings in this funny way. MI also uploaded a video on social media of the four players donning the fun jumpsuits. “Punishment jumpsuits are back,” the video caption read.

Pace bowler Trent Boult returned figures of 3 for 22 to secure a crushing six-wicket win for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL match against winless Mumbai Indians on Monday.
Boult’s sensational left-arm pace helped restrict hosts Mumbai to 125-9, a total Rajasthan with 27 balls to spare for their third win of the season in three matches.
Five-time winners Mumbai, who appointed Hardik Pandya as captain in place of veteran Rohit Sharma, slumped to their third defeat and remained at the bottom of the 10-team table.
Pandya had another night to remember after he was booed by the home fans at the toss, prompting host Sanjay Manjrekar to say “behave”.
“Yes, a tough evening, we didn’t start the way we wanted to start,” Pandya said after the defeat.
Pandya top-scored with 34 for Mumbai but admitted his wicket made them slip.
“I wanted to counter, we were in a good position to get around 150-160,” Pandya said. “But my wicket allowed them to get more into the game, I had to do a lot more.”
In-form Rajasthan batsman Riyan Parag hit an unbeaten 54 off 39 balls for his second consecutive fifty as he steered the team to victory with two sixes and a four.
But the Rajasthan bowlers ruled with Boult’s deadly opening blast, making way for Yuzvendra Chahal’s 3 for 11 with his leg spin.
