Wild footage has emerged of the moment a female motorcyclist was verbally abused by a driver who she claims tried to cut her off during a heated road confrontation.

The New Zealand woman, who lives in Australia, shared shocking footage on TikTok of the altercation in which the man is heard telling her to “die”.

The motorcyclist and her passenger managed to remain calm throughout the terrifying experience.

Dashboard camera footage from his bike showed a driver in a white pickup truck launching into an expletive-laden tirade at a traffic light.

‘Let’s get people’s asses in trouble, dammit,’ he said.

The New Zealand woman did not respond to the driver and waited for the light to turn green before she could continue driving.

The foul-mouthed motorist then made a rude hand gesture before turning left, while the motorcyclist continued straight ahead.

The motorcyclist shared footage of what had happened moments earlier with a video showing her overtaking the car before the driver accelerated to pass her.

She explained that when the driver slowed down in front of her, she passed him again before claiming he had hit her.

“He hit me under an intersection (I had left some extra space so he wouldn’t hit me from behind),” she wrote in the caption.

The images show how the driver braked again, causing the motorcyclist to overtake him again.

The motorcyclist was visibly shaken when she finally arrived at her destination.

“That was crazy, I’ve never had anyone yell at me like that before,” he said.

His passenger added: “I was angry. I was completely pissed off.”

“He could have let me go and that would have been it, but no, he had to get in front of me,” the motorcyclist said.

Social media users were quick to show their support for the motorcyclist, with many praising her composure.

“The worst thing you can do in a road rage incident is to respond. That does the opposite of helping. So good on you for not doing that,” wrote one.

“It’s really hard not to participate sometimes, but you did the right thing. It’s not worth it,” said another.

Another added: “That’s terrible, I’m glad you’re safe.”

Some defended the driver, claiming that the motorcyclist was at fault.

“I mean you interrupted him twice for no reason, you didn’t need to get over him like that,” one wrote.
