Makeup artist, 28, reveals how she lost 52kg without going to a gym

A young makeup artist who got into unhealthy eating habits after high school shared how she lost 52 kg without setting foot in a gym.

At the age of 21, Bianca Walpole, of Melbourne, dropped to 117kg in 2014 as the weight slowly piled up after embracing a new-found freedom of social eating after high school.

“When I was younger and going out with friends, I didn’t drink alcohol, but I ate a lot of fast food,” Bianca, now 28, told FEMAIL.

Feeling unhappy and alone, her incredible weight loss journey began after attending an Isagenix IsaBody event where she was inspired by other men and women sharing their transformations.

“I told myself I’m going to do that and one day I will be,” she recalls.

In her late teens, Bianca weighed 75kg and enjoyed dancing as a form of exercise – which she stopped participating in after the excessive weight gain.

“I struggled with the simplest tasks, from tying my shoelaces, getting up from the floor, walking a few steps without being out of breath, doing my hair and wearing my favorite clothes over my shoulders,” she said.

“It was heartbreaking because I used to be such a flexible person and couldn’t move like I used to.”

“At one point I attended an exotic chair dance class and ended up crying in the bathroom because I couldn’t do the moves correctly because of my size,” she said.

After setting a goal of returning to her original weight, Bianca tried a range of different workout routines and diets, including keto and paleo, but nothing seemed to work.

“I felt stuck because I found that nothing helped and there were no obvious changes,” she said.

She decided to take the 16-week IsaBody challenge to completely change her diet and lifestyle.

“It was definitely a challenge to be accountable and it’s about staying on track to reach your goal,” she said.

“I’m vegan, have celiac disease and have food allergies, but try to keep my diet interesting,” she said.

After the first 18 months of participating in multiple challenges, Bianca lost the first 25 kg simply by changing her diet and not exercising.  The remaining 25 kg lost weight the following year by continuing her diet and exercising at home

Bianca was proud of herself for having lost nearly half her body weight and was able to share her newfound physique on stage at an Isagenix IsaBody event and now weighs 65kg.

“The day I got to run on stage and share my story and have my picture taken was a dream come true!” she said.

“I went from the girl hiding at events all the way in the back to the girl onstage telling her story and showing others what’s possible! You can’t get that smile off my face!’

Bianca said she has a specific diet because she is vegan, has celiac disease and fights food allergies
