Kyle Walker and his wife Annie Kilner are said to have given a frosty reception when they attended a party at Wayne and Coleen’s mansion in Cheshire over the holiday.
The couple, who recently welcomed their fourth child, live together again but have faced confusion since Lauryn Goodman revealed that Kyle Walker is the father of her two children.
They spent time at Coleen and Wayne Rooney’s mega-mansion this weekend while putting Lauryn’s latest scandal behind them.
The couple, who now have four children, were said to be “cold” towards each other when the Rooneys hosted a Christmas party for their footballer friends.
An informant said Sun: ‘Annie has allowed Kyle to return to the family home, so of course they will do things as a family again.

“But not everything is easy and clearly there was still a bit of tension. Everyone was letting their hair down, laughing, and having a few drinks, but it was obvious that Kyle was still in the doghouse.
“They weren’t particularly affectionate, but it’s a step in the right direction for them as a couple.”
It comes after it was reported that Kyle would be considering leaving Manchester City and the Premier League in favor of moving to Saudi Arabia at the end of the season, according to The Sun.
The City star was in talks with Bayern Munich about a possible exit last year before signing a new contract extension that keeps him in the Premier League and the reigning European champions until 2026.
The media storm focusing on their relationship could pave the way for an exit from European football in the summer and the City full-back has been in talks with his former teammate Riyad Mahrez about a move to the Middle East.
Riyad joined Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli after winning the treble under Pep Guardiola and has been offering expert guidance to Walker on life in the nation.
He moved there with his wife Taylor Ward and their young daughter last year, and the former was initially upset about leaving England for Saudi Arabia.
Taylor later claimed she felt more comfortable after seeing that popular food chain Nandos had facilities in the country.
If Kyle leaves, he would be the highest-profile English player to move to the league, which continues its approach of attracting top talent by offering huge salaries.
Jordan Henderson previously left the Premier League for Saudi Arabia last year before returning to Europe with Ajax in January.
Kyle is understood to be “very happy” at City as they continue their quest for a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title and prepare to face derby rivals Man United in the Cup final FA for the second consecutive season.
His wife, Annie, is also in favor of leaving England in search of a fresh start abroad, sources told The Sun.
Talks with Riyadh are said to have mainly focused on the different clubs in the Saudi Pro League and the lifestyle of foreign players moving to the oil-rich kingdom.
Kyle was delighted with the information his former colleague gave him and will weigh up all available options once the season concludes.
His departure would be a blow to Guardiola, who planned the player’s move to the Etihad from Tottenham in 2017 for an initial £47m.
Kyle’s representative told MailOnline: “Kyle, like many footballers, has considered his career following Premier League and England commitments. “Talks about a move were related to his future and it is not something he is considering at the moment. “He is immensely proud to be the captain of his club and play for his country.”
Meanwhile, MailOnline also revealed on Friday that Kyle returned to live in the family home just four months after his wife kicked him out.
Annie was at the time pregnant with her fourth child when she heard the shocking news of her husband’s infidelity. Kyle was ordered to pack his bags and leave his £3.5million mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire.
He moved into a nearby house and paid £20,000 a month in rent when the couple’s marriage fell apart.
But a source told MailOnline: ‘Kyle is now living with Annie and the children as they try to put their difficulties behind them and get their marriage back on track.
‘He needs a lot of help around the house and a lot of emotional support. Kyle is very happy to have returned to the family home, but things are still very tense between them.
The source added that Annie and Manchester City and England star Walker sleep in separate rooms, but he has been doing more housework than before, such as going to school and also tidying up.
Meanwhile, the footballer is said to be considering leaving Manchester City and the Premier League to move to Saudi Arabia at the end of the season (pictured with wife Annie and children).
Annie and Kyle (pictured in 2022) are believed to be considering future options for their family.
The source said: “It would be an understatement to say he needs to get back into Annie’s good books and is doing his best to be more useful around the house.” But there are people within her circle who feel that she has accepted him too quickly.
‘But your hormones are all over the place and you’ve decided it’s worth putting in the effort to save your marriage. “A lot of women wouldn’t have done this but, at the end of the day, it’s their choice.”
Kyle continues to pay rent on the property he moved into after leaving the family home, even though he is never there.
Annie, 30, gave birth last month with the Manchester City and England footballer by her side.
The last few months have been a rollercoaster for Annie, after she discovered in December last year that her sportsman husband had fathered a second child with Lauryn and Walker moved out of their home a few weeks later in January.
Ahead of the arrival of their fourth child, whom they plan to name Rezon, the couple also share children Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, and Reign, five.
