Love Island’s Remi Lambert claims unaired rows with Jacques O’Neill ‘ruined’ his time in the villa
Love Island star Remi Lambert has claimed his time on the show was ‘ruined’ after an unaired row with Jacques O’Neill.
The model reflected on his short stay in the villa in the YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvuand admitted that he and Jacques clashed several times, but the scenes never aired.
Remi was dumped from the villa last week after remaining single in the wake of the rematch, then admitted he was “disappointed” to leave so soon.

As reported by the mirrorRemi said, “There were a lot of things that weren’t broadcast – there were a lot of things going on.
“So actually me and Jacques got into quite a few fights and it just made my experience crap. It ruined it for me.
“People said, ‘It’s because he has a rugby character,’ but you can’t treat people like that.”

When pressed by fellow dumped Islander Afia Tonkmore about the reason behind the clashes, Remi added: “He was just trying to get a hold of me.”
He also claimed that Jacques would repeatedly mimic his voice and say phrases like, “My name is Remi. I’m tough and I’m from Manny.’
“It was so shocking, but I was the only one who stood up for myself because he always did that with people and I’d just like to stick it on him and say ‘Shut up!'” Remi added.
“Yeah, we just had a lot of fights and stuff.”

Remi also revealed that he received death threats after being dumped from the show.
The hunk also revealed why he was reluctant to show off his rapping skills during an interview on Love Island: Aftersun, which aired Sunday.
He admitted that he struggled with playback on his earpiece during the interview, which made it more difficult to do the impromptu rap for the viewers.

Remi was dumped from the villa on Sunday after failing to be chosen in a rematch.
After the vote, he said: “I’m a little disappointed – I wish I could have stayed longer to get to know Indiyah and Danica most of all.
“At the same time, I feel like it was my time to leave. I got mixed signals and got no clear answer from the girls.’
“I feel like Indiyah and I had a connection, but she and Ikenna were there from the start and they built a strong bond and foundation. I wish I’d had more time with her.’

Elsewhere, dumped islander Afia revealed that she plans to leave the country and start a new life in Bali.
She said Heat World: ‘I don’t have many plans, but I’m moving to Bali. I was always going to move to Bali and then this happened.
“Now my friends and I think this is the best time. I feel like the UK is just not my vibe right now.”
‘Little hippie, vegan, namaste stuff. I really like my health and well-being and stuff.”
