Lizzie Cundy has revealed some of her biggest showbiz secrets in a new interview on the My dirty clothes podcast.
The 56-year-old former model, WAG and mother-of-two revealed she once enjoyed a night out with Tom Cruise after he skipped a film premiere to grab a bite to eat.
She said: ‘They used to travel to LA to interview ITV stars at red carpet events and I once interviewed Tom Cruise.
‘Something was happening, I was like ‘mm-hmm’… I was quiet. Now, when I was on the red carpet (after that), he had one of his big movie premieres, Edge of Tomorrow, and he was the first one to talk to me.
‘I had a great interview and afterwards I thought: I don’t want to see this film. I don’t feel like it. I was with my son and I said to him: “Let’s go get something to eat.”

In an interview with My Dirty Laundry Podcast, she spoke about how Simon Cowell caught her in the bathroom and she was stopped by the police with a famous star in the trunk of her car.
‘I enter the restaurant… Who do I see? Tom Cruise. He didn’t want to watch his own movie either.
‘So he whistles like this, while I’m walking around trying to find a table. And he says, ‘Hey, hey, come here.’
And my son, who was outside… I had left because I had gone into the restaurant, he came in to find me and he was sitting there with Tom Cruise and the director of the movie. And he invited us all to dinner.
During Lizzie’s latest interview, she revealed that she met her now good friend Simon Cowell when he surprised her while she was using the VIP bathroom at Cipriani’s.
She said: ‘Simon was standing there, I was sitting on the toilet and I said, ‘Nooo!’ And then he spoke normally. He said, ‘Do I know you?’
“And I went and said, ‘No, but I know you. ‘ And I thought, could you please close the door? I couldn’t believe it.
‘Anyway, I walked out the door and he said, “Okay, come join me for a drink there.”
-Yes, but that’s my story of how I met Simon, but that was a long time ago.
Lizzie also talks about the time she was pulled over by the police, but she was secretly hiding The Wrestler star Mickey Rourke in the trunk of her car.
He had jumped in there after they enjoyed dinner together in Mayfair, so he wouldn’t be seen.
She said: ‘He said to me: ‘Lizzie, I’ve got a new girlfriend. The last thing I want is to be seen with you.’ I took that as a compliment.
And he added: “Look, for your own good, she gets very angry.”
Lizzie added that she accidentally ran through a red light because she was not used to the power of her car and was stopped by the police.
She thought, “I thought, if they open the trunk, what if Mickey Rourke is in there, dead? What will they think?”
