Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal has challenged his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the alleged liquor policy scam case in the Delhi High Court. Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, after hearing the initial argument of the two parties, transferred the case for hearing later in the day. Additional Solicitor General SV Raju said the ED received a copy of Mr Kejriwal’s petition only yesterday and sought three weeks’ time to file a detailed reply. The case will be heard again after the court has dealt with all the cases on the supplementary list.
