Lauren Phillips attacked her radio rival Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on Thursday morning when she claimed she could beat the KIIS FM star in a boxing match.
The new Nova FM presenter, 42, had her KIIS FM breakfast show taken away from her last year to make way for the expansion of The Kyle and Jackie O Show in Melbourne, and it appears she still holds a grudge.
Speaking to co-host Jason ‘Jase’ Hawkins and host Clint Stanaway about who would win in celebrity boxing matches, Lauren said she could easily defeat Jackie O.
‘Who do you think could win a fight between Lauren Phillips and Jackie O?’ Jase, 42, asked Clint, 42.
Lauren quickly responded: ‘Me. Every day of the week! Boxing? Oh, I would. Have you seen my size compared to her size?

She continued: ‘I could eat it for breakfast! She would be featherweight and I wouldn’t… featherweight is lightweight?’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Jackie O for comment.
It comes after Jase and Lauren criticized their former employers at KIIS FM after their Melbourne show was canceled to make room for The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
The new Nova FM presenter, 42, had her KIIS FM breakfast show taken away from her last year to make way for the expansion of The Kyle and Jackie O Show in Melbourne, and it appears she still holds a grudge.
In his first show for Nova FM, Jase said he was “hurt” that The Jase and Lauren Show was replaced by a “networking from Sydney” show.
‘Melbourne deserves better… That’s how the situation was handled. And not just for us, but for everyone who worked on the show,” she said at the time.
Elsewhere in the segment, Jase revealed his pain at being kicked out by ARN, owners of KIIS FM.

Lauren seemed to be as upset as her on-air partner, saying, “They didn’t talk to us about it.” It was like they were talking about us, but no one was talking to us.’
Jase and Lauren recorded their last show on KIIS FM on December 1st.
In November, Sydney-based radio duo Kyle and Jackie O signed a record-breaking $200 million, 10-year live-on-air deal, keeping them on the airwaves until 2034.
At the time, an ARN spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the deal for the Sydney duo meant their co-workers Jase and Lauren were left out of work.
Jase and Lauren had their first show together on KIIS FM in 2021 and it was met with an overwhelmingly positive response.
