Kristin Cavallari and her estranged husband Jay Cutler are being prosecuted after one of their dogs allegedly bit a man at a house on Old Hillsboro Road in Franklin, Tennessee.

Nathan Beam, a resident of Jackson County, Alabama, mentioned in court documents obtained by WKRN on Wednesday that he was bitten by the couple’s dog in June 2020 while performing a cable and satellite installation.

Beam is suing for damages because he claims the incident caused him “ physical pain and mental suffering, ” adding that the scuffle with Cavallari and Cutler’s dog left him with “ visible deformity and scars. ”

According to the lawsuit, Beam alleges that “Neither Cutler nor Cavallari were in the house upon his arrival,” but that their dogs were openly roaming the Old Hillsboro Road grounds upon his arrival.

Beam, who works as a satellite and cable installer, says he was asked to come to the property in June 2020 to complete an installation where the home is owned by Next Chapter, LLC, a limited partnership. liability of Davidson County. ‘

Once the installation was completed, Beam claims he returned to his truck, where he claims the former German Shepherd named Kona “ blocked the driver’s side door. ”

Still near the truck, Beam said he was bent over to pick something off the ground, at which point he claims that Kona “ bit his left thumb and fingernail and wouldn’t let go for a few seconds. ”

Although Cavallari and Cutler were ‘not’ at home at the time of the incident, Beam claims that Cavallari’s personal assistant was present and ‘handed him a paper towel and told him to leave the property immediately’.

Beam’s lawsuit also suggests that the installation agreement stated that “ the dogs should be held or confined to a closed area. ”

Although Cutler is listed as residing at an address in Davidson County, where the charges were filed, Cavallari is listed as residing at a Williamson County resident.

As part of the lawsuit, Beam and his legal team allege that Jay and Kristin were aware of the perceived danger their dogs posed to others because of social media posts posted about them in the past.

Certain of Cavallari’s Instagram posts about the dogs are mentioned directly in the suit. One used the caption ‘beast’, while another used the hashtags ‘#TrainedKiller and #DontMessWithThisCrew.’

The photos referenced in the suit were taken and posted three years ago.
